Former NXT Tag Team Champion Tyler Breeze has confirmed he is no longer under contract with WWE.
Earlier today, a fan commented that Breeze was still with WWE. Breeze replied simply: “No he’s not.” When asked for clarification, Breeze added: “I was under a deal with WWE. Not anymore.” A follow-up question about possibly joining AEW brought this response: “Would love to be a part of AEW.”
Breeze was originally released by WWE in 2021 but continued working with the company in non-wrestling roles, including appearances on the UpUpDownDown channel and contributions to the WWE video games. He also made a surprise in-ring return at NXT Homecoming in 2025.
He is now a free agent and continues to wrestle on the independent circuit while training talent at Flatbacks Wrestling School.

In the opening match of the main show of WrestleMania 35, Seth Rollins defeated Brock Lesnar to win the Universal Championship. In the second match, AJ Styles defeated Randy Orton.
On an episode of WWE Retrospective, Styles revealed that his match against Orton was originally scheduled to kick off the main show, but The Beast wanted to have the first match, so Vince McMahon changed the plan.
Here&#8217;s what The Phenomenal One said:
&#8220;This match was good, but most don&#8217;t remember it because nobody was making noise because in this match, they were being blinded by the lights.
Why were they being blinded? Because I do believe we were first, but that got changed because Brock wanted to go. Apparently, we follow the rules of Brock Lesnar when it comes to deciding who goes first or second.&#8221;

The official figure, provided directly by Brent Council to POST Wrestling, tracks the exact number of people who walked into the building on the night rather than total tickets sold. This turnout makes the show the third-largest live crowd in AEW history.
The verified count sits slightly below other figures shared around the event. WrestleTix reported 46,987 total tickets distributed, while AEW President Tony Khan claimed at the post-show media scrum that attendance was near 50,000.

On The Ariel Helwani Show, Austin Creed and Kofi were asked if they received a call or text from WWE higher-ups to say thank you for their lengthy run in the company.
The New Level revealed that they didn&#8217;t receive any calls or texts, but they are grateful for their time in WWE.
Here&#8217;s what Kofi said:
&#8220;I just want to say I’m super grateful for the time that we had there. Living out my childhood dream would have never been possible if it wasn’t for WWE.

Anthony Bowens is approaching the final weeks of his current AEW deal, with his contract officially set to run out on October 1, according to Fightful Select.
There is no extension in place at the moment, and it remains unclear if both sides have begun serious talks on a renewal.
