Kit Wilson Gets A New Show On Club WWE

WWE Tag Team Champions Damian Priest &#038; R-Truth and AAA Tag Team Champions The War Raiders (Erik &#038; Ivar) recently agreed to face off in a Winner Takes All match with both WWE &#038; AAA&#8217;s tag team titles on the line.
At last night&#8217;s Live Event, Priest and R-Truth defeated Erik and Ivar in a non-title match. WWE&#8217;s future plans usually play out at live events first, so WWE officials can gauge the fans&#8217; reaction. So, it&#8217;s possible that Priest and R-Truth end up becoming double champions soon.
As of this writing, WWE hasn&#8217;t announced a date for this Title For Title match.

Possible Spoiler On Who Might Become Double Champions On SmackDown

At last night&#8217;s WWE Live Event in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Women&#8217;s Tag Team Champions Brie Bella and Paige had an in-ring promo segment with AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio.
During this exchange, Brie tried to set up Paige with Dirty Dom in the absence of Women&#8217;s World Champion Liv Morgan. Here&#8217;s what the WWE Hall of Famer said:
&#8220;I did see the greatest champion of all time partying in New York while you&#8217;re here, but I think my tag partner might be able to show you a better time.&#8221;
Dominik asked Paige the following:
&#8220;Is it the mustache? Or do you like the mullet? Do you like Mexicans?&#8221;
Both Brie and Paige nodded to the question of Paige liking Mexicans. You can watch this segment below:

Brie Bella Tried To Set Up Paige With Dominik Mysterio At WWE Live Event

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, some people backstage in WWE were hoping Matt Cardona would return to using his old Zack Ryder character after rejoining WWE.
The belief among those individuals was that Zack Ryder was already a well-known WWE personality with strong recognition among fans, making it a more familiar option than fully leaning into the Matt Cardona persona he developed and popularized during his time on the independent wrestling scene.
At this stage, there is no indication that WWE is planning to revert back to the Zack Ryder character. However, WrestleVotes noted that the situation is one to keep an eye on.

According to PWInsider, Gunther vs. Nick Aldis is 100% internally set for SummerSlam 2026. This will be Nick&#8217;s first match in WWE.
Gunther attacked Aldis on last week&#8217;s SmackDown. Due to this, RAW GM Adam Pearce will once again be the acting General Manager of the blue brand tonight.
As of this writing, WWE has officially announced the following matches for SummerSlam:

&#8211; Undisputed WWE Championship Match: CM Punk (c) vs. Cody Rhodes
