In the main event of last week&#8217;s NXT, Tony D&#8217;Angelo defeated Naraku in a Street Fight to retain the NXT Championship. After the match, former TNA World Champion Mike Santana made his official WWE debut and had a staredown with D&#8217;Angelo.

Today, Santana announced that his new ring name in WWE is Cruz Montana. WWE filed a trademark for this name as well.

Mike Santana Reveals His New Name After WWE Debut

The hilarity of Super Troopers 3 is heading straight to WWE TV as members of the famous Broken Lizard comedy troupe were spotted in full uniform backstage at tonight&#8217;s RAW, according to PWInsider.
Because the actors showed up dressed in their signature movie outfits, fans can expect a fun crossover segment on tonight&#8217;s broadcast.
While exact details about their role remain under wraps, the stars are clearly in town to promote their upcoming comedy sequel with a special cameo appearance alongside WWE Superstars.

Hollywood Crossover Coming To Tonight’s RAW

During an interview on WWE Radio, Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk said he&#8217;s proud of what his SummerSlam 2026 opponent Cody Rhodes has achieved:
&#8220;I’m very psyched for the match. There’s a huge part of me that, and I think of all wrestlers, maybe in men, maybe it’s a male trait. They don’t want to seem weak. Cody might not want to admit that at some point in time, maybe even currently, he has looked up to me.
I have no problem admitting, no shame in saying I’m proud of where he came from because I think he’s surpassed what I did.
When he came in, I was already here. I got to here, he was here. He did the same thing I did. He left, and he came back a bigger star for it, and then he accomplished things that I never did at that point, and it’s fun to see. It really is.
It really makes me feel like I’m that old fourth liner on an NHL team now that was like the star captain center at the beginning of my career and I’m still on the team and I still can contribute but, the new kid comes in and you make room for him, and you can help guide him and all that but, ultimately, we’re gonna find out who the better man is at SummerSlam and I’m very, very excited about it. This is gonna be a lot of fun for me.&#8221;

At WrestleMania 42, Liv Morgan defeated Stephanie Vaquer to win the Women&#8217;s World Championship.
Liv has now crossed 100 days as champion and has made 0 televised title defenses. This new milestone received major backlash from fans on social media regarding how WWE has booked RAW&#8217;s top women&#8217;s champion.
Morgan&#8217;s first televised title defense of her current reign will against &#8220;Queen of the Ring&#8221; IYO SKY this Saturday on Night 1 of SummerSlam 2026.

Fans Unhappy About Latest Liv Morgan Milestone

On The Phenomenally Retro Podcast, WWE Hall of Famer AJ Styles revealed that he took over one of the coaching positions at the WWE Performance Center:
&#8220;I went back down to the Performance Center. We did some more tapings, and I’m going to be taking over for one of the coaches.
It’s trying to inspire some of the younger talent and seeing them do well. Like see, being able to produce a match and going, ‘Oh my gosh, dude, you guys killed it.’ I love that opportunity to be able to say I was involved in that to a certain degree.
Obviously, it’s not me in there doing it, but just giving ideas and whatnot. It’s fun, man. Being at the PC and seeing these guys work hard, and they’re willing to work hard for you as I take over a class.
Seeing them respect me enough to really work hard, to not go slack off because AJ’s here and not because our original coach isn’t, is a big deal to me. Man, I can’t tell you how grateful I am that these guys have worked so hard to help me out in this whole thing that I’m still learning.&#8221;

AJ Styles Reveals His New Role At The WWE Performance Center

During an interview on Busted Open Radio, Seth Rollins (age 40) talked about the upcoming WWE debut match of Nick Aldis (age 39) at SummerSlam 2026.
Rollins revealed that he was shocked to learn that Aldis is younger than him:
&#8220;I think anytime anybody’s coming off of a long hiatus, and has never really laced up the boots inside a WWE ring, there’s a ton of intrigue, so the Gunther-Aldis match is one that kind of has my attention.
The other ones, you kinda know what you’re gonna get. I don’t mean that in a bad way. You know that Hell in a Cell’s probably gonna be a war, you know what you’re gonna get with Punk and Cody. You’ve seen them at their peak. I think there’s the mystery of what does Nick Aldis have in the tank.
Now we see Aldis in the shirt every week on Friday. He looks fantastic, he looks full, the chest, he looks great, and he’s not even 40 years old. He’s still younger than I am actually which shocked me. I didn’t know that.
Let’s see what he’s got. It’s really his WWE debut and it’s on a massive stage. I’m really looking forward to seeing that.&#8221;
