Nikki Bella dealt with a minor wardrobe issue during this week&#8217;s SmackDown taping while also shutting down fan chants.
Nikki was wearing baggy red pants that repeatedly slid lower on her hips as she attacked Paige. She was seen adjusting them multiple times.
At the same time, fans in the arena began chanting &#8220;John Cena.&#8221; Nikki responded by acknowledging the chants before laying out the former Divas Champion.

According to TRNBCKL, a 6-woman tag team match is expected to be added to Sunday Night&#8217;s Main Event: Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Tatum Paxley vs. Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab. WWE might announce this match on this Friday&#8217;s SmackDown broadcast.
False Finish reported that Blake Monroe vs. Giulia is also being discussed for Sunday Night&#8217;s Main Event, but nothing is official yet. This match was originally scheduled to take place on last week&#8217;s SmackDown, but the match never got started after Blake attacked Giulia.
As of this writing, WWE has announced the following matches for this September 6th event:
&#8211; Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton
&#8211; Oba Femi vs. World Tag Team Champion Bron Breakker
&#8211; United States Champion Baron Corbin vs. Lil Yachty
If Yachty survives 5 minutes with Corbin, Trick Williams will get another U.S. Title match against Corbin.

While remembering the legendary Dolly Parton, WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Morton of the Rock &#8216;n&#8217; Roll Express revealed that he personally knew Dolly during his childhood, as she lived in his neighborhood.

&#8220;Growing up in a small house in Antioch, Tennessee with my mom, my dad and my four brothers, we did not have much, but we had each other. And just down the street from us lived a woman who would go on to become one of the most beloved people in the world.
Dolly Parton.
I remember seeing Dolly riding her bicycle to and from the store. To the world, she would become a superstar, an icon and a legend. But to us kids in Antioch, she was just Dolly from down the street.
She was always so kind to little ole Ricky and my brothers. She never made us feel like we were bothering her. She always had a smile and a kind word. Those are the memories that stay with you.
As I got older, I watched her become everything the world knows her for. Her music, her generosity, her heart and the way she treated people. But when I think of Dolly, I do not think first about the fame. I think about that little girl from Tennessee who grew up to touch so many lives, including ours.
It is funny how life works. Sometimes the people who become legends are the same people you remember simply as the kind person from your neighborhood.
Today, Tennessee lost a piece of its heart. The world lost an incredible woman. And I lost someone I will always be grateful to have known, even if those memories go all the way back to when I was just a little boy.
Thank you for being kind to little ole’ Ricky and my brothers. We truly lost a queen today.&#8221;

Dolly Parton had a wrestling connection in the 80s. She and Hulk Hogan created an iconic pop-culture crossover on Parton&#8217;s ABC variety show in 1987.
Inspired by a tabloid rumor about her falling for a wrestler, Parton wrote the comedic song &#8220;He&#8217;s Got a Headlock on My Heart&#8221; and cast Hogan as her love interest.
In the musical sketch, Hogan plays a hero named &#8220;Starlight Starbright&#8221; who wins a wrestling match before &#8220;marrying&#8221; Parton in an in-ring mock wedding ceremony.
Hogan later recalled Parton as exceptionally warm and enthusiastic, and reports suggest she pitched the collaboration partly because her father was a massive fan of the Hulkster.

Davey Boy Smith Jr. (son of WWE Hall of Famer The British Bulldog) visited backstage at a WWE live event in his hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, on August 23 and hinted at a potential return to the company.
Following the event, Smith shared a photo on social media with Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk, reflecting on their past history as both allies and opponents. He concluded the post by suggesting they could cross paths in WWE once again, writing:

Smith was previously featured on WWE television as a member of The Hart Dynasty alongside Tyson Kidd and Natalya. He re-signed with WWE in 2021, but was released later that year after working only a single untelevised dark match.
Since leaving WWE, Smith has competed extensively internationally, including winning the AJPW Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship in Japan. Despite his brief 2021 stint, he has previously stated that he remains open to another WWE run if given a fair opportunity.

Ticket distribution for AEW All In 2026 at Wembley Stadium has officially crossed the 42,000 mark. According to the latest data from WrestleTix as of August 25, the event has distributed 42,028 tickets ahead of the show on Sunday, August 30.
The updated total reflects a steady increase over the past several weeks. On July 10, ticket distribution stood at 29,328 before rising to 37,113 by August 9. Overall, AEW has distributed over 12,700 additional tickets since early July. To accommodate ongoing demand, the promotion recently opened up extra seating in Sections 229 and 230.
Despite the recent momentum, ticket sales are pacing behind the company&#8217;s previous Wembley event. On August 25, 2024, AEW All In had distributed 53,922 tickets, placing this year&#8217;s show roughly 12,000 tickets behind the same point in 2024. Standard entry tickets currently start at £31.70, with around 353 tickets available on the secondary market.
AEW is relying on a high-profile card for its final sales push. The event is headlined by Kenny Omega defending the AEW World Championship against Will Ospreay, Willow Nightingale defending the AEW Women’s World Championship against Mercedes Mone, and Adam Copeland and Christian Cage defending the AEW World Tag Team Championship against The Young Bucks.
The card also features Kyle Fletcher defending the International Championship in a triple threat match against Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita, alongside Kevin Knight defending the TNT Championship against Darby Allin in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
