Reports that Johnny Gargano may be leaving WWE after removing the company from his X bio appear to be incorrect.
According to False Finish, Gargano has not listed WWE in his bio for years. He remains on the internal WWE roster.
Gargano’s current bio simply reads “Pro Wrestler, Clevelander” and includes a business contact email.

Matt Cardona Suffers Injury

AEW is releasing its previously untelevised Brawl in the Ballpark event on its MyAEW digital streaming platform tonight at 6 PM ET. The special broadcast will stream worldwide and without commercials.
The event originally took place on July 10 at Target Field in Minneapolis, the home of the Minnesota Twins. Tonight&#8217;s stream will be the first time fans who did not attend the live event can watch the show in its entirety.

Ian Riccaboni and Tony Schiavone will provide commentary for the broadcast. The match card features several notable matches, including Orange Cassidy versus Wheeler Yuta, and Julia Hart taking on Hyan.
Additionally, Brian Cage faces Serpentico, while The Hurt Syndicate matches up against Shane Taylor Promotions. The card also features a trios match with Komander and Top Flight taking on Action Andretti and The Opps.
This release is part of AEW&#8217;s ongoing efforts to expand the content available on the MyAEW platform, giving fans access to exclusive live events that were previously unavailable to stream.

AEW To Stream Unreleased ‘Brawl In The Ballpark’ Event Tonight

Malakai Black has officially returned to active competition, wrestling his first match since his WWE release. The former NXT Champion made a in-ring return on August 22 at his own training facility.
Black competed at the Dark Arts Gym, where he faced off against his student, J. Villa. He reportedly showed little ring rust, executing his signature offense before securing the victory in his first bout since leaving WWE in April.
This unannounced match alters the timeline for his highly anticipated public comeback. Black was originally scheduled to make his first post-WWE in-ring appearance on September 4 for PROGRESS Wrestling in Edinburgh, Scotland, where he is booked to face Donovan Dijak.
By getting back between the ropes at his own school first, Black has successfully shaken off any ring rust and secured a win before heading overseas for his high-profile UK booking.

Malakai Black Wins First Match Since WWE Release

Former WWE Women&#8217;s Champion Bayley has hinted at a potential return to television following an exchange with RAW General Manager Adam Pearce on social media.
The interaction occurred on Bayley&#8217;s Instagram post celebrating the 10th anniversary of her RAW debut. After Pearce commented to show his appreciation, Bayley replied, &#8220;Hey let&#8217;s talk,&#8221; to which Pearce responded, &#8220;You know where to find me.&#8221;
SmackDown star Blake Monroe has also issued a challenge to Bayley. It started after Monroe posted that she is “world championship material” and does not want her time wasted. This came after she attacked Giulia on the August 21 episode of SmackDown before their scheduled match could begin. Bayley replied simply: “ok”. Monroe asked if that was all.
Bayley answered: “maybe… maybe not.” Monroe then fired back: “no one likes a tease, see u on Friday or don’t tweet me again”.
The Role Model has been absent from WWE television since her loss to Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night&#8217;s Main Event. Valkyria later claimed she had run Bayley out of the company, which fueled speculation regarding Bayley&#8217;s current contract status.
Despite her absence, WWE has continued to reference her on TV. Bayley&#8217;s name was mentioned multiple times on the latest episode of RAW. The Wrestling Observer noted that these frequent on-screen mentions indicate WWE expects her to return, as they would likely avoid mentioning her if they believed she was leaving the company.
