NXT Champion Grayson Waller engaged in a verbal clash with wrestling content creator Fatherless following NXT.
The interaction began when Fatherless warned Waller that he was going to get beaten up. Waller immediately fired back by targeting the creator&#8217;s physical appearance, telling him, &#8220;I can smell the diabetes on you, big fella,&#8221; before asking who was capable of beating him.
When the creator suggested NXT star Saquon Shugars as a potential threat, Waller dismissed the idea. He claimed Shugars was already exhausted from his earlier match, before shifting his focus back to Fatherless and mocking his social media follower count, saying nobody will watch this.

The post-show exchange followed the main event of NXT, where Shugars, Rook, and Tony D&#8217;Angelo defeated EK Prosper, Cruz Montana, and Keanu Carver to qualify for a No. 1 Contender&#8217;s Triple Threat match.

Jim Ross said Darby Allin remains one of the most distinctive wrestlers in the business, but he does not want to see Darby keep increasing the risk of his stunts.
Ross discussed Darby and Steven Borden on Grilling JR after AEW All In: London. At the event, Darby defeated Kevin Knight in a Falls Count Anywhere match to retain the TNT Championship. During the match, Sting and his son Steven Borden got involved against Brian Cage and Jake Doyle, with Borden diving from a ladder onto both men.
Ross said Darby’s willingness to take risks is a major part of what makes him stand out, especially given his size.
“Darby Allin is one of the most unique athletes in the entire pro wrestling business. He’s 170 pounds, which will automatically get him on some wrestling fans’ sh*t list because he’s not a monster. His heart is a monster. He has no fear, and he comes up with most of the stuff that he does.”
Ross made clear that while Darby succeeded in creating memorable moments, he would not support taking those ideas even further.
“He’s not doing it because he’s worried about losing his spot. He wanted to do it, add to the show, and give guys like you and me something to talk about, and he succeeded,” Ross said. “But I am not for him continuing to push the envelope. I would not want to have a conversation with him where he gives me a couple of ideas of what’s next. What’s the next stunt?”
Ross also pointed to a change in Darby’s in-ring approach, noting that he has begun using submissions and targeting joints, which he described as smart for a wrestler of his size.
On Steven Borden, Ross said he was impressed by what he saw and believes he has strong potential.
“He’s a former D1 athlete. He’s got a great frame to put on more pounds and more definition. He’s going to be a player. There’s no doubt in my mind,” Ross said.
Ross added that Borden could eventually become one of a promotion’s featured weekly acts once he is more established.
JR also said he had not known Sting would be appearing at the show, and noted that at one point on the ladder, Steven Borden strongly resembled his father.

Cena noted that explaining his thought process helps give fans a different viewpoint on those moments. He added that he remains grateful for the opportunity to tell his side of the story and expressed interest in detailing more of his retirement tour in the future.

Rush emphasized that his performance was not the issue, pointing to his matches against top AEW talent as proof of his quality. However, he noticed a clear shift in how he was used once promotional partnerships became a regular part of AEW programming.

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has been cast in the holiday film The Christmas Heartbeat, which is scheduled for release on September 29, 2026.
Vantage Media has acquired worldwide distribution rights for the film, which was previously titled The Heart Brake. The cast also includes Brittany Curran, Hunter Sansone, Beverly D’Angelo, Joey Lawrence, Rachael Thompson and Courtney D’Angelo.
Set in Tennessee, the story follows New York food critic Julia Winters, played by Curran, after a sudden cardiac arrest forces her to return to her hometown during Christmas. The film centers on her confronting her past while rebuilding her future.
Lance Smith directed the film and also co-wrote and executive-produced it with Chuck Fusca. It was inspired by the real-life experience of executive producer Carrie Romero, a sudden cardiac arrest survivor and advocate. Trey McClarnon produced the film, with Delaney Blanton, Quinton Macari III and Brian Yuran also serving as producers.
Foley is currently signed to AEW, where he appears as an interviewer.
