AJ Styles said his current role at NXT is only temporary.
Speaking on The AJ Styles Show, Styles addressed questions about whether he is working at the WWE Performance Center every week. He said he is filling in for a coach who is away after knee surgery and is not a regular member of the NXT coaching staff.
&#8220;One of our coaches had to get knee surgery. I have now taken his place until he&#8217;s back. I am not a coach per se that&#8217;s down here every week. I am just filling in until he&#8217;s back.&#8221;
Styles also said he has enjoyed the experience. He explained that he is trying to keep sessions practical, focus on details such as footwork, and avoid repetition that can make training feel stale.
&#8220;I&#8217;m actually having a lot of fun with it and I&#8217;m trying to make everything that we do very, very practical.&#8221;
He said he wants to change things up without taking away from what the talent already knows, adding that learning something different can be harder but also more engaging.

AJ Styles’ Current Role In WWE Is Temporary

D&#8217;Lo Brown said Ahmed Johnson&#8217;s ring work led to a serious injury for Ron Simmons (Faarooq) and caused resentment to build backstage.
Speaking about his time working around Johnson during an interview with Inside The Ropes, Brown said safety was the most important issue in wrestling and accused Johnson of not taking it seriously. Brown said Johnson was careless in the ring and focused only on himself.
&#8220;He was unsafe, he only cared about himself, and in the ring, safety is paramount.&#8221;
Brown then pointed to one specific incident involving Simmons.
&#8220;He would get sloppy and he would kick, he&#8217;d kick Ron Simmons so hard it lacerated Ron&#8217;s kidneys.&#8221;
Brown said the issue became even worse because, according to him, Johnson showed no concern afterward. He said Simmons was out for 9 months and did not hear from Johnson during that time.
&#8220;Ron is out 9 months and Ahmed never calls him once to say, how are you doing? What&#8217;s going on?&#8221;
According to Brown, that lack of contact was a major reason Simmons disliked Johnson, and he said frustration with Johnson kept growing among others backstage as well.

With the &#8220;pay your dues&#8221; controversy surrounding Avery Styles going on, former WWE wrestler James Ellsworth posted the following:
&#8220;I don&#8217;t care if Avery Styles sets up rings, puts up chairs, or runs and gets the boys water.
But someone remind him that I beat his dad AJ Styles 3 times …

Jey challenged Solo to a one-on-one match tonight, and Solo will have to return to The Bloodline if Jey wins. However, if Solo wins, Bloodline will have to leave Solo alone.

Theory kept attacking Tozawa after the match. Maxxine Dupri gave Theory a steel chair, but WWE officials prevented Theory from using it. Bron Breakker was about to spear Tozawa, but Oba Femi came out. WWE officials had to get in between Oba and Bron.

Card For Next Week’s RAW

In the opening segment of tonight&#8217;s RAW, Jey Uso challenged Solo Sikoa to a one-on-one match tonight, and Solo will have to return to The Bloodline if Jey wins. However, if Solo wins, Bloodline will have to leave Solo alone.
According to Fightful Select, Jey is scheduled to defeat Solo after interference from Jimmy Uso.
This means that Solo Sikoa will be forced to return to The Bloodline.
