Drake gave a fun nod to WWE history in his latest project, releasing a short film and album called &#8220;FOMO.&#8221;
During the song &#8220;I Know What’s True,&#8221; the Canadian music star rhymes about his shiny gear, rapping that his chrome belt makes him look like John Cena.

During his sit-down interview with Michael Cole on SmackDown, Cody Rhodes listed his accomplishments and questioned if he really needs to change. Cody ended by saying:
&#8220;I&#8217;m amused at the fact that I need to change. However, that situation is going to come up again. And when it does, I&#8217;m not going to make same decision I made at Sunday Night&#8217;s Main Event.&#8221;
Triple H posted footage of what happened after the interview ended, where Cody dropped the F-bomb. Triple H wrote the following about it:

Cody Rhodes Dropped The F-Bomb After SmackDown Interview (Video)

Self Made Pro revealed that one idea pitched internally involved LA Knight defeating Roman Reigns in a surprise World Heavyweight Title change.
The concept was floated as a potential shock outcome, possibly involving interference from Solo Sikoa. That would serve as a catalyst to pull Reigns into the larger Bloodline/WarGames storyline he has largely avoided, positioning himself above the ongoing conflicts as Tribal Chief.
Self Made Pro stressed that this remains only an idea that has been discussed, not a locked-in plan. However, if WWE opts for a major title switch between now and Survivor Series, Knight is viewed as the most likely candidate to dethrone Reigns.
The report comes as Reigns is set to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight at Money In The Bank on October 10 in New Orleans, following Knight’s post-RAW attack on The OTC in Mexico City.

WWE Discussed Surprise Roman Reigns World Title Loss

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the once-close working relationship between WWE and TNA is “nothing close” to what it was just a few months ago.
Meltzer noted that no WWE talent is appearing with TNA anymore, even with Bound For Glory approaching. He described the current situation as “a bad situation,” adding that this pattern “always happens when you work with WWE historically.”
He also shared his view on the partnership’s original purpose. Meltzer suggested WWE collaborated with TNA primarily to boost the smaller promotion’s leverage for a television deal and potentially weaken AEW by creating competition. That strategy, he said, did not fully materialize, and TNA’s ticket sales have since declined as the crossover appearances dried up.

WWE & TNA Partnership Reportedly In Trouble

Former WWE/AEW star Jake Hager (former World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger) underwent emergency eye surgery after suffering a severe injury in his Power Slap bout on September 17.
At Power Slap 23 in Lubbock, Texas, the 44-year-old faced Johnny Magna. In the second round, a powerful slap from Magna left Hager bleeding heavily from his left eye. Hager immediately reacted in pain, saying “He hit me right in the eye,” as blood appeared to leak from the area. Doctors stopped the fight, awarding Magna a TKO victory.

The injury was so graphic that Dana White chose not to air a replay and described it as one of the worst he has seen in either Power Slap or the UFC. White emphasized getting Hager prompt medical care.
Hager’s partner, fellow Power Slap competitor Patricia Blackburn, confirmed the update through Slap News: Hager is recovering from emergency eye surgery. The couple is keeping further medical details private while thanking the UFC and Power Slap community for their support.
This marked Hager’s second straight Power Slap defeat. He won his debut in April 2026 before suffering a knockout loss to Amanpreet Singh (Mahabali Shera in TNA) in July. He had signed a multi-appearance deal with the promotion earlier in the year.

Sami Zayn defeated Kevin Owens to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event of SmackDown after CM Punk hit Owens with the belt.
There was a botched pinfall after this spot. Sami went to pin Kevin, the referee counted to 3 and Owens didn&#8217;t kick out, but the referee didn&#8217;t call for the bell, which resulted in Owens getting his shoulder up after the 3-count. Sami then hit the Helluva Kick to pin Owens.
